About SEPC Membership
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, with a view to give proper direction, guidance, and encouragement to the Services Sector set up an exclusive Export Promotion Council for Services in the name of Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC). At the time of inception, SEPC was mandated to promote the export of 14 services sectors. As per the Public Notice No 26/2015-20 dated 1st August 2018 by DGFT, others the category was added where more sectors were brought under SEPC purview.
Further in 2018, the Union Cabinet chaired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce to give focused attention to 12 identified Champion Services Sectors having the following major objectives:
- Enhance the competitiveness of India's service sectors through the implementation of focused and monitored Action Plans, thereby creating more jobs in India, contributing to a higher GDP and exports of services to global markets.
- As the Services sector contributes significantly to India's GDP, exports and job creation, increased productivity and competitiveness of the Champion Services Sectors will further boost exports of various services from India.

How to become a member?
Applicant has to fulfil a very minimum documentary requirement for new membership registration as details below:
1. Fill online membership registration application form http://portal1.servicesepc.org/
2. Require to upload a self-certified copy of board resolution or power of attorney in case of signing authority is not mentioned in online IEC.
3. Require to upload a self-certified copy of Format -A (last three FYs foreign exchange earning details) duly self-certified and certified by CA with a sign, stamp, UDIN and membership number of CA.
4. Membership registration fees for new membership registration are as below:
