College of Commerce, had held various posts of office bearers like Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President etc. in Rotract Club, Junior Jayces and Junior Chamber. He was elected as First Rotract Governor in India and then was appointed as National Chairman of the Council of Rotract Governors.

In 1982 he was elected by securing highest votes in the entire Western Region of W.I.R.C. of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and was appointed as Vice Chairman in the same year.

He has written several papers on Tax Laws and has given talks in various Seminars, Conferences and meetings all over Gujarat as well as all over the Country.
For almost 20 years he was a Co-Author of the Ready Reckoner which is published in Gujarati. He was regularly contributing Article in Financial Express and was regularly writing as a Contributor and Editor in monthly Gujarati book called “Tax Reporter”. He was elected as a President of All Gujarat Federation of Tax Consultants for the Year 2013-14.
He was elected as a Member of Governing Council (Accounting / Auditing and Book Keeping Services Sector) governed by SEPC, set up by the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India consecutive for third term i.e. years 2015 – 2017, 2017-2019 and again for the term 2019-2021. He was elected as Vice Chairman of the SEPC for the term September-2019 to 2021. Recently he has been elected as Chairman of the SEPC for the term 2021 to 2023 i.e. for period of 2 years. It is first time in the history of Gujarat that a Chartered Accountant has been elected from the state of Gujarat as a Member and Chairman of such a reputed Institution under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.
In 2017 he has been appointed by Govt. of Gujarat as a member in the Fee Regulatory Committee for All Medical Colleges in Gujarat.
He has also been appointed in the Special Committee of Coal India Ltd. for considering valuation of all Coal Mines. Recently he has been appointed as an Independent Director of Gujarat State Financial Services Ltd. by Government of Gujarat.

The main operation of the company is inbound tourism meant for bringing tourists from worldwide nations. He has been associated with IATO for last 20 years and has served IATO in various capacities. He was the President of IATO for 5 years from 2016 to 2021. He is presently the Immediate Past President of IATO. He has been recently elected as Member of SEPC Central Governing Council representing Travel and Tourism Sector for 2021-23. He is also one of the Board of Directors of Tourism & Hospitality Skill Council (THSC).
He has travelled abroad extensively and has visited many foreign countries for growing his venture and promoting Indian tourism. He has been especially focussing and promoting tourism in markets like Middle East, Far East, Australia, New Zealand, USA, Canada and UK regions . At Vakils, he was instrumental in bringing NYSE-listed Bowne & Co. Inc. (acquired by RR Donnelley), the world’s largest financial printing company, to India.
